HealthTuna and Water Diet


Ready for a hardcore diet to get lean in a matter of days? This diet is used by professional bodybuilders to prepare before the competition. It requires an iron willpower but guarantees 100% results.


Here is how it works:

* Normally this diet is followed for 3 days.
* Take in 6 equal tuna servings. Once each 2,5 - 3 hours.
* Drink as much water as possible. At least 3-4 liters. Water fills your stomach and helps you not to feel hungry. There is no limit. Drink as much as you can.
* Take at least twice a day some vitamins. This is crucial since you won't get much vitamins from tuna during this diet.
* You will need at least 1 to 1,5 grams of protein per pound of your weight (aroung 3 gram per kilogram). Tuna's marvelous as it contains 26 gram protein per 100 gram tuna. Here are two handy formulas to calculate your tuna serving size:

For kilogram calculation: (bodyweight * 3 * 100) / (6 * 26) = bodyweight * 300 / 156 = 1 tuna serving (in gram)
For pound calculation: bodyweight * 100 / 156 or bodyweight * 150 / 156 = 1 tuna serving (in gram)


Don't think it is an easy task, but the harder the task, the greater the payoff. For beginners I suggest to start the diet on friday evening after the work and keep it for two days. The reason is that you cannot control the regular food intake very well during a workday as you work normally 4 hours (or more) non stop and get only one break to eat. Moerover, two days diet is not as hardcore as 3 or 4 days diet. I recommend this for all beginners. If you can keep this diet for two days without problems, wonderful, you can keep it for one or two days more.

Stay strong and be aware of forbidden foods. Your energy levels may fall in the first 1,5 days. You may feel very weak as never before. This is teh time of your spirit to stay as hard as iron and keep the diet! Your body will soon adapt and the strenght will come back.

Personally, I am doing this diet at the weekend every 2-3 weeks. It helps to burn the extra fat I may have gained during that period. It is a wonderful way to stay lean 365 days a year!

When you look at the last couple of years many different terms for infants, adolescents and adults with ADHD have been introduced. They were mainly influenced by American descriptions of the classification system DSM-IV:

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is the term utilized in the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR) diagnostic criteria.

ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) with or even without hyperactivity is the older term from the DSM-IIIR. So in a select number older literature you will find this term as a synonym for ADHD.

The difference between ADD and ADHD, in short, is basically nothing. However, Im sure you desire to get an even more detailed explanation. This will be elaborated further.

Again, the new Diagnostic criteria is ADHD but there is still some referral to ADD. So no need to be confused. They are now all referred to as ADHD even if there is no hyperactivity for that particular patient.

While the differences are not substantial, there are different varieties of ADHD just as there are different varieties of cancer.

A select number professionals however use the term ADD although it is the equivalent as if they used the term ADHD. To sum it up, ADD technically is ADHD and vice versa.

There are 2 main categories of ADHD: Inattentive and Hyperactive. Both are considered ADHD. If someone is diagnosed with ADD its the equivalent of ADHD: Predominately Inattentive. Predominately inattentive means that the hyper-active elements of ADHD aren't as relevant, however not entirely excluded with that individual.

The Inattention Symptoms of ADHD

An individual with ADHD will do any or even all of these things that display a lack of attention chronically for more than 6 months consecutively:

* Loses things

* Seems not to listen

* Has difficulty keeping attention on something

* Avoids tasks requiring focus for any sustained amount of time

* Gets simply distracted

* Is incredibly un-organized

* Has problems following instructions

* Short-term forgetfulness

* Makes careless mistakes

The HyperActive Symptoms of ADHD

A individual with ADHD can do any or even all of these things that display Hyperactivity, chronically for more than 6 months consecutively:

* Interrupts constantly

* Talks too much

* Cant stay still or even fidgets

* Has problems with sitting quietly and doing activities

* Difficulty waiting in line or even taking turns

* Incredibly impatient

* Runs around excessively

This should clear up the different between ADHD and ADD. The terms are now the same, except using ADHD now there are inattention and hyperactive terms used or not used to describe ADHD patients.

We often ignore our tires unless they're flat. But they play a vital role in the overall condition of your car. Maintain them properly, and you'll save money on repairs and on fuel costs.

Keeping your tires properly inflated ensures that they wear longer and can prevent accidents. Your car likely has a card or sticker attached to the door edge or the inside of the glove box door. The right amount of air your tires need is specified here. In case your car doesn't have this sticker, you can check your owner's manual.

Serious accidents can happen if your tires are under-inflated or overloaded. One of my tires blew-out on me and caused an accident. Luckily I was on a little traveled country road and was going slowly. I hate to think of what might have happened if I had been in major traffic.

Buy your own quality tire gauge. You can't tell if tires are inflated properly just by looking. And the air meters at your service station may not be correct!

Ask your auto supply dealer for a tire gauge calibrated up to 80 PSI. They'll know what you mean, even if you don't.

Take a moment at the beginning of each month to check your tire pressure (don't forget the spare! Uhm, you do have a spare tire, don't you??) Check them before you get in the car to drive. Write down the actual under-inflation amount for each tire. Take this info with you to the service station.

Now measure the inflation again and record these numbers. (Don't worry, this only takes a couple minutes.) Now inflate the tires to a level that equals the warm pressure (that you just took) plus the first under-inflation amount. (called the "cold" inflation pressure)

If the above instructions sound intimidating or confusing, take your car to a shop and give them the cold pressure numbers. Theyll put the correct amount of air in your tires for a minimum fee sometimes theyll not charge you at all.

The leading cause of tire failure is under-inflation. So make a habit to check them once a month.

Overloading your vehicle can lead to tire failure, too. Just because you have a pick-up truck doesnt mean it can carry an infinite load.

Schedule a tire check into your calendar each month and youll save money, save fuel, and perhaps, even save your family from a car accident.
